Program Information
To build secure, resilient livelihoods women entrepreneurs need access to affordable financing to sustain and scale up their enterprises, and to invest in climate protective measures for themselves and their communities. This is this core challenge that the Global Climate Resilience Facility (GCRF) seeks to address by leveraging philanthropic investment to de-risk lending from private service providers to women-led micro-enterprises. Unlocking this financing will enable women entrepreneurs to invest in preparedness, mitigation and recovery from climate shocks, and expand access to women-led climate solutions.
