At the 70th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), which took place from March 9-19th, member states adopted agreed conclusions on “Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies and practices, and addressing structural barriers.”

This annual event brings together member states to advance gender equality. With the gap between commitments and action as a recurring theme in this year’s conversations, the Agreed Conclusions chart the direction towards more effective governance to protects the rights of women and girls.
